  1. Top Navigation Strip
    • Display: Circuits.com | Home | About | Join | Contact
    • Background color (temporary): #0F78A9
  2. Main Header Section
    • The header should match the current design exactly, but with a reduced vertical height to make it tighter and more compact.
    • Background color: #274C77 (Executive Blue) (for now)
    • Text color: White
  3. Search Bar
    • Keep the same color scheme for the search field, text, and button as currently shown.
  4. Navigation Links Under Search
    • The three link words can be slightly smaller in font size.
  5. Category Section (Below Header)
    • This section will contain 12-14 category blocks.
    • Each category should appear in its own white-background block.
    • Colors can match the current design for now.
  6. Category Block Rules
    • No product images should appear inside any category blocks.
    • These blocks will primarily contain text-based category links.

      • We will continue adding new words and categories links over time.
      • Subcategories will also be added gradually.
      • The developer only needs to create the template structure.
      • There is no need for the developer to populate extensive category data. Just set the template so we can add-on.

  7. Category Click Behavior 
    When a visitor clicks a category, it should open example on “Page 1”, Format exactly as demonstrated on the current site, polished up of course.
    Suppliers List & Sponsor Page (Page 1)
    • The layout should remain very similar to what currently exists.
    • Header colors remain the same.
    • Developer can add ideas & professional design improvements to sharpen the look and feel of the page.
  9. Left Side of Page – Supplier List
    • The left half of the page will display a list of top distributors/suppliers for that category in a 2 row column (probably)
    • The number of distributors will vary by category and grow weekly or monthly.
    • Example:
      • Clock Buffers → may have only 3 distributors.
      • Drivers → may have 6 distributors.
    • As new companies join, we must be able to easily add additional suppliers to the list.​
  10. Right Side of Page – Category Sponsor
  • The right half of the page will feature a sponsor for that category.
  • This should be designed as a clean, professional promotional enticing block.
  • The goal is to create a prominent placement where a distributor can be highlighted as the elite category sponsor.
11.   Simple standard footer,  home, about , contact, etc....

12.  Own a keyword-    *Suppliers can purchase exclusive ownership of a specific keyword within a category, giving them the only listing associated with that term on Circuits.com when users search for it.     
     *The keyword would remain hidden in the database unless a user specifically searches for that exact term in search bar. When the keyword is searched, it appears in the result, and clicking it opens a full, static sponsor page displaying the supplier’s complete contact information.
